RULES

Code & Collaboration:

Produce original code during the hackathon (February 27 - March 1)

Cite any external code sources in your project documentation

Collaborate within your team, but each team must work independently

Mentors are available to help with debugging and brainstorming

 

Competition Rules:

Teams: 1-5 people

Eligibility: Current students (college)

No pre-existing projects or plagiarized code

One Devpost submission per team

Libraries, frameworks, APIs, and open source code are allowed

Submit by the deadline — no hacking after time is up

Include a 2-3 minute demo video or live link with your submission

Projects cannot be submitted to other hackathons

 

AI Tool Usage:

The use of AI such as ChatGPT or Copilot is completely fine but your codebase should not contain any code from existing projects on Github, Kaggle, or any other open-source catalog.

When in doubt, ask an organizer

Violations may result in disqualification

Report suspected violations to organizers
